New website for The Barn - 4 Star self Catering in Guernsey
Submarine was contacted by Mr and Mrs Morris, the owners of a new self catering cottage in Guernsey, who were in need of a website. It was important for the client to present their beautiful, modernised property effectively and to get their message out there, with details of the four star facilities they offer.
We were happy to quote for the build, which began in Autumn 2021 in readiness for the 2022 season. Professional photography was engaged in order to bring out the qualities of the accommodation and consideration was given to the information customers would require online in order to make a commitment towards contact. This included Google maps with a location marker for the property, island highlights and tourist information links to Visit Guernsey. The site was designed with a new logo and warm colours to promote engagement and the text was considered for ease of reading and legibility.
The cottage is a characterful barn conversion fully equipped with modern features. It is spacious, well appointed and provides extremely comfortable accommodation for two to four guests on two floors. The quiet location includes a peaceful outer courtyard, ideal for a lazy hour with a good book. Regular guests consider this accommodation on the beautiful island of Guernsey to be exceptional.
Modern Cost Effective Web Platform
The site is built in Umbraco, a modern secure platform which allows the owners content control in order to keep ongoing running costs down. Submarine is of course always available to help if needed.
