The Institute - website launched

The Institute have launched a new website working with Submarine. The deployment includes a 360 walk-through virtual tour to highlight the team's location at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, Guernsey. 

The Institute provide training and education for Guernsey's health and social care professionals. The website is the first stage in a planned digital transition development which will see the core course information expand to include online registration and payment in future alongside current support services such as the Institute Library.




To boost the website launch, Submarine created several 360 VR photographic walk-throughs for recognition and to highlight the teams location within the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, Guernsey.  These were created with an array of GoPro cameras and deployed via Google Maps in order to take advantage of the widely circulated channel - they received over 1,200 views in the first weekend... lateral thinking combined with digital technology, serving a real purpose whilst bringing attention to this new deployment.

Submarine can deploy 360 photography independently of Google StreetView and within your own website. This has the advantage of a more streamlined interface for walk throughs without Google's wider menus and links. You can compare the StreetView application (above) with the bespoke version from Submarine below.

The website was designed and built by Submarine for deployment on the States of Guernsey ICM content management platform and hosting in order to minimise costs. Submarine are a preferred supplier for States of Guernsey.
